The Company need to concentrate it’s efforts on winning new tenders/opportunities etc, rather than diverting valuable resources towards a massive HR contraversy and an industrial dispute, at this crucial time of crisis!

Majority of staff need representation by a corporate body such as the Union, which is clearly evident by the membership numbers, instead of individual negotiation of agreements.

Why doesn’t the Company Heads negotiate with the Union Reps in a co-operative environment, that will no doubt be appreciated by the present Government. These are the type of approach that international bodies such as the ITU would recommend, to achieve diplomatic solutions that results in better staff morale & loyalty, higher productivity thereby making all operations smoother and provision of efficient/uninterrupted service to the CUSTOMERS.

High time for all parties to drop childish stubbornness aside and get back to serious negotiating tables, for the benefit of all the staff as well as the company.

As those of us who bought shares in the Telsra when it was first privatised, I can only say that I have detected the share price demise has directly paralled the reduction in staff and union collective agreements.
    It does’nt take a rocket surgeon ;)

Got something to say?
